Why is it free?
PaisaBill is built by Beyond Basics, a small team in Bengaluru. We think billing should not be a monthly cost for a kirana store, a tea stall or a two-person pharmacy. Most of the work of a billing app runs on your own device, so serving one more shop costs us very little.
You do not pay with your data either. We do not sell shop or customer data, and there are no ads. Read the privacy policy for exactly what is stored and why.

Questions shop owners ask
Is there a hidden limit on bills or products?
No. There is no cap on the number of bills, products, customers, staff or shops.
Will I need a credit card to sign up?
No. Sign up with an email address or Google account. PaisaBill never asks for card or bank details.
Does PaisaBill show ads?
No. There are no ads in the app and no advertising trackers.
Can I remove the "Billed with PaisaBill" line from my receipts?
Yes. It is a setting in the bill template, and you can turn it off for free.
What if pricing changes in the future?
Everything described on this site is free today. If that ever changes, we will announce it on this page and in the app well in advance.
