Why PaisaBill exists
Walk down any market street in India and you will see the same counter: a busy owner, a queue, a calculator, and maybe a receipt printer gathering dust because the billing software that came with it costs too much or takes too long. GST made proper bills a requirement for many of these shops, but the tools to make them were built for accountants, not for the person behind the counter.
We built PaisaBill to fix that. It should take minutes to set up, work on the phone or PC the shop already owns, print on the printer already on the counter and keep working when the internet does not. And it should be free.
What we care about
- Speed at the counter. Every extra tap is a customer waiting. That is why PaisaBill has keyboard shortcuts, camera barcode scanning and held bills.
- Correct bills. GSTIN, HSN, CGST and SGST, amount in words and financial-year bill numbers, worked out the same way every time.
- Your data stays yours. No ads, no selling data, and export whenever you like. See our privacy policy.
- Plain language. In the app and on this site, we explain things the way you would explain them to a new cashier.
